Q: How do you do a black shadowy eye for dark skinned women for a night on the tow?

A: I worked with all kinda of shades from ivory to ebony and everything in between. I noticed that dark skin tone looks extraordinary with dark purple and blue shadows. Dark metallic colors work too. If you are going for a black monotone color I would advice using a shadow base underneath it. The base will pick up the eyeshadow and the color will result more intense. I would also use a creamy black shadow first then layer it with black powdery shadow last. Some of my favorite brands are Illamasqua, Makeup Forever, Nars, Laura Mercier and Ben Nye. What time is it? It's P-A-R-T-E-Y time! The holiday soiree are quickly approaching and that's my friend when your wardrobe can use a little bit of spark. Y'all know by now that I'm a huge fan of stockings and socks. So I thought I would share these cool socks I found on Etsy. They are flesh-colored with patterns on it that almost gives you the tattoo effect. All eyes on you once you sport them!

I was at Urban Outfitters the other day, just went it to take a quick look on what was there, was not planning on buying anything. I swear! Then my eyes fell on this girly cute summer dress (which was only $19.99) I had to get it! So I did, and I don't regret it!

Perfumes add a finishing touch to a woman outfit. It's a way to express yourself and your taste. I wear it on a daily basis and can't live without it! In my high school days, I used to wear Eternity all the times. Then I moved to Gucci Rush, that was the sophie signature! I wore it religiously every single day for many many years. There's something alien-esque about the Alexaner McQueen SS 2010 collection. It exudes a futuristic, eye catching, out of this world vibe. The models carefully made their way on the runway in their 12-inch shoe-boots. This must be seen in motion! What more to say but "WOW".
