Hi I found your blog through your chictopia, great clothes btw and your make up website is amazing, very talented. I love statement lips too but for some reason they just don’t seem to look right on me. I recently bought Nars Jungle Red as I’m mad about poppy red it’s gorgeous but I feel something’s not right with it, I’m dark skinned (African) like a Jourdan Dunn type colour so brights normally suit me in clothes but this looks a bit off my mum said I look like something from the black and white minstrel show (http://hurrah.typepad.com/hurrah/images/2007/06/23/gollywog_2_hurrah_2.jpg) HELP!! Please could you recommend some bright colours that wouldn’t have this effect or do you think it could be the way I apply it, I don’t use lip liner because I don’t know how etc etc please help.. thank you .. sorry i wasn’t too sure where to post this
